The Board of Community Nurse of Thetford is pleased to let you know we have hired Clay Odell RN as our new Community Nurse. A native of the Upper Valley, he has lived in West Lebanon for over 25 years. He has been a Paramedic since 1985 and an RN since 1997.
Clay has had many roles during his career, among them inaugural flight crew member for DHART, Executive Director of Upper Valley Ambulance, Trauma Nurse Coordinator for the NH Trauma System, and recently the lead clinician for the Mobile Integrated Healthcare program at New London Hospital. He currently works as a part-time Firefighter/Paramedic for the Town of Newport NH and also as a per diem RN in the Hyperbaric Medicine Department at DHMC. (A reminder that the Community Nurse has a very part time position and does not provide "hands on" or emergency care. Any emergency calls should always be directed to 911.)
Clay is excited about embarking on the next phase of his career working with us, and we are fortunate to have him! Stay tuned for a future meet and greet coming up soon.
